Negli anni ’70 del 2300 and\u00f2 su Cardassia Prime e vi rimase intrappolato durante la Guerra Klingon-Cardassiana.
Mentre era su Cardassia, Darvin venne a conoscenza dell’esistenza del Cristallo del Tempo, che era sul pianeta in quel momento, e complott\u00f2 di usarlo per cambiare il suo passato e vendicarsi di Kirk.
La sua opportunit\u00e0 arriv\u00f2 quando la USS Defiant fu assegnata a trasportare l’Orb per portarlo su Bajor nel 2373.<\/p>\n
Nei panni di Waddle, Darvin ottenne il passaggio a bordo della Defiant e utilizz\u00f2 il Cristallo del Tempo per trasportare l’intera nave nel 2268, dove piazz\u00f2 una bomba al tricobalto all’interno di un tribolo nel vano portaoggetti a bordo del K-7.
L’equipaggio della Defiant cattur\u00f2 con successo Darvin e imped\u00ec alla bomba di uccidere Kirk, riducendo al minimo i cambiamenti nella sequenza temporale.
